Making friends within our group is designed to be much easier than other organizations. The first place to start is the Discussion Forums. These forums are just getting started so as our group grows we will create regional forums for those of you who are less adventurous. For now however, becoming a member of Fight 4 Kids gets you in with our entire membership right from the start. You will be able to interact with other parents candidly and hopefully make some lifelong contacts. In addition, you will realize soon enough that there is no reason to be shy with our group.

Another way to make friends through your membership with Fight 4 Kids is learning about or starting a Small Group in your community. . They are a way for single parents, stay-at-home moms and any of our other members to get together once or twice a week and share an afternoon or evening together. The small group coordinator of the group will be sure that everyone exchanges information to give opportunities for friendships to really develop.

And don't forget about our Online Parenting Classes. These are informal and include ways to really connect with other parents in a learning situation.

Take your time and just realize that at these early beginnings of our membership base, you may have to come out of your shell a little and be the first one to start the small group in your community. Know that if you are the one who steps out...there were others waiting the whole time and you were the one to make the difference. Don't get stuck in a rut by staying at home staring at the TV or getting depressed. Step out and get some friends. Our group can help you do that.

Become a member at no charge, and discover a host of opportunities; immediately interact with other parents who are experiencing what you do. You might be surprised at some of the topics discussed in the F4K Discussion Forums. Take the time to navigate around the forums and find the topics that hit home for you. Then start a small group in your community.
